Snow Leopard

Mac’s Snow Leopard is interesting. Much has been made about how it takes up less room than 10.5, but I’d already gone through my system and zapped all the superfluous printer drivers, so I only gained about 10G. I also didn’t appreciate how it loaded a lot of pretty but generic desktop wallpapers. Apple already dictates too much of its users’ taste. I deleted them all except for Seurat’s Sunday Morning, which is quite nice.

The only other annoying thing about Snow Leopard is that whenever you open a program in it for the first time, the computer says something like “What the hell is this?” And you have to say “Photoshop, you electronic idiot”. And then it says “Hmm. Photo-shop. Interesting.”
